I’m one of those who learn by doing, and sometimes I end up learning the hard way. That’s what happened today when I took a whole bunch of my favorite pictures from this summer and added them in the post called Flowers in Kirkenes. I added lots of tags I found relevant and hit “Publish”. Then I learned that if the post has too many tags, somewhere around 10 or 12, the post won’t go out into the global streams. I tried checking out re-blogging, re-publishing and whatever else might work, but I couldn’t find any quick fixes. So here I go again – with far less tags. To those who follow my blog I am sorry you might see the pictures twice. On the bright side I learned something today (- I’ve been really restrictive on the tagging this time)!
I do love your photos: they’re so beautifully light and airy, with such delicate colouring.
No sweat: a lot of people have problems with the tagging, either using none, or very personal ones, or too many. There’s also a problem if you schedule posts. We live and learn.
Thank you again for the tip and the compliment. I really do appreciate it. I’ve been trying to work on lighting and my technique, and it’s been real fun.
We sure do, and I enjoy learning new things so I’m happy even though I had to make a mistake to learn something.
