Not in the right order here, though, This picture was taken the 28th at the airport before departure, while 2012/08/28 Boston was taken upon arrival at our home for the night. Is was still the 28th of August, just in a different timezone. The trip continues today with bus and ferry. Here we come, Martha’s Vineyard.

I just peeked out of my window and saw the stars. They were actually visable from downtown Oslo. Usually you can only see a random star or planet or two because of the lights and the haze. So, for the first time ever, I’m trying to get some shots of the stars. I think you might recognize the constellation, even if I still got some tuning to do before I can capture the color of the sky and a sharper outline of the stars.
Weekly photo challenge: Urban
They’ve been doing a lot of building in Oslo lately, and new images are emerging all over the place. They catch my eye. They might not be urban in the way described in the challenge, but I still find them very urban. I’ll bring my camera along going downtown and see if I find something more fit for this challenge the coming week.

Today was Oslo Photo Marathon (Oslo Fotomaraton). It started at 11 am and the final hand in was at 11 pm. 12 pictures on 12 given topics in 12 hours. I walked 28 km (17,5 miles) today. I’m tired and my feet are aching, but it was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to practice and learn.
